About Tree of peace
広島には被爆しながらも現在まで大地に根を伸ばし力強く生き続けている樹木があります。
「７５年間、草木も生えない」。そう不安視された焼け野原から新しく芽吹いた樹木も大きく育ち人々に希望を与え癒し続けている。

そんな木々たちは今も大切に手入れをしながら見守り、育てられています。
手入れの中で剪定作業がありますがその時に切った貴重な剪定木を何とか捨ててしまわずに違う形に再生し平和や愛や生きる力を感じられる何かにしたい。
それらが人の手に渡り、平和へ繋がる事を信じて平和の木プロジェクトを立ち上げました。

In Hiroshima, there are trees that, despite being exposed to the atomic bomb, have spread their roots into the earth and continue to live on strongly to this day.
Trees that sprouted anew from the scorched earth―where it was feared “not even grass would grow for 75 years”―have grown tall, continuing to give people hope and healing.
These trees are still carefully tended, watched over, and nurtured today.
Pruning is part of their care. We wanted to find a way to give new life to the precious prunings, rather than discarding them, transforming them into something that conveys peace, love, and the power to live.
Believing these pieces could pass into people's hands and connect to peace, we launched the Tree of  Peace Project.
